Katie Jackson Park Photo Journal

Below you will find photos from a Spring trip to Katie Jackson Park in North Dallas. Situated near the Dallas North Tollway and George Bush Turnpike, it’s easily accessible but feels off the beaten path with a few unique qualities.

NOTE: you’ll go through a series of apartment complexes to access this park. The parking lot is small and it appears to be a small park with a playground and small concrete walking loop. If you head toward the back of the loop, it opens up to a series of mountain biking and hiking trails. When we went, we continued to the right side of the trails and didn’t see a soul. There was a young couple camping toward the end, which we are not sure is allowed, so that set an interesting tone. For that reason, it’s a place we would either recommend hiking with friends or for mountain biking.
