Lewisville Lake Environmental Learning Area (LLELA) Photo Journal

Below you will find photos from a Spring trip to the Lewisville Lake Environmental Learning Area (LLELA) in Lewisville, Texas. The property is 2,000 acres and owned by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Since these photos were taken in the Spring, you’ll notice some Spring wildflowers!

NOTE: There is a $5 entrance fee and NO PETS ALLOWED. (First time we went, we were not aware that pets are not allowed and had to turn back).

For more information, visit the official website.

Parts of the park were a bit marshy, but trails remained clear.
