Lake Tawakoni State Park Photo Journal

Below you will find photos from a recent trip to Lake Tawakoni State Park in Wills Point, Texas. It’s about 60 miles, or an hour drive, East of Dallas. The lake itself offers swimming, fishing and boating and there is great hiking along the lakeshore and through oak forests with White-tailed deer. Camping is also available (though currently closed due to COVID-19). It rained all day when we were there, so we had the trails to ourselves!

For more information, visit the official website.

Happy exploring!
